Allowing supporters back for non league games 07:59 - Aug 18 with 933 viewsSalisburySaint

At moment blanket ban on fans at non league football which is crazy.

With restricted capacities at Premier and Football league games,, likely to be in place for some time this will be an attractive alternative for many.

So if you think this should be changed please sign petition below

Is that not the problem though ?

I have seen various posts on various football forums and Facebook saying how they won’t go back to their club but will just go and watch local non league football instead .

It seems some non league clubs could have had record breaking crowds .

Having said that they should be allowed to have fans in when or before league Clubs do providing they can limit the attendance and keep to social distancing guidelines - and that could be the problem for some.

Would say managing a crowd of 500 at non league level fairly easy with correct stewarding in place, especially as fans mainly stood up

I have just done a story on the home page perhaps if everyone could post a link to that story on their social media we could create some groundswell and get the petition over the 100k needed where the government have to sit up and notice and thus the national media take up the case.

Very tempted to get a season ticket at Eastleigh next season as I think it will be the closest you'll get to normality when it comes to attending matches.
