Funniest moment following QPR on 23:45 - Feb 12 with 2718 views | OregonQPR | Yeovil away FA Cup 3rd round 1988 Teenage Yeovil fan invaded the pitch and was hauled off by the police and thrown out of the ground. 10 minutes later he has got back in the ground and is on the pitch and this time the police drag him across the pitch as his jeans fall below his arse and he is covered in mud. Fans of both sides were in stitches. Great day that was from memory all pubs within distance of the ground were shut and R’s fans were buying booze in shops. When we got back to station after the game word was going around that Millwall had pulled down the clock at Highbury. Also, on the station platform there was a little tuck shop that was run by a teenage girl and her grandmother. Every time they turned their backs to get something someone had asked for loads of hands reached in and pinched stuff. I felt so sorry for them.

I was living in Weymouth for s couple of days a week for work on the post office travelling train, and I took the short journey to Yeovil junction on the Tuesday before the game in order to find a decent pub to drink in for the Saturday.”We’ll be open Saturday and you’ll be welcome to come in for a few pints” says the landlord.I went back on the Saturday and the b@stard pub was shut. Such a different atmosphere when we went back for the league game in 2013-14.Apart from the cattle truck train they tried to get us all on.I did feel sorry for the R’s fan who managed to drop a box of peroni on the platform while waiting for the train.

I remember us all in good voice, while being escorted down various country lanes to get to the ground. Think they must have taken us the long way round, as it seemed like it was a couple of miles. Anyone else remember, or was alcohol responsible for a distored memory?
Funniest moment following QPR on 11:38 - Feb 13 with 2496 views | Esox_Lucius | I was mates with Lee Charles since he was in the reserves at Yeading and I arranged to meet him in the QPR cafe before a game for a catch up. As we were walking to the ground a guy with his kid was pointing towards us and pushing the kid in the back. Kid walks over and asks for Lee's autograph and says thank you, looks at the signature, looks at Lee and hands the book to his dad. His dad looks once or twice and they walk off with a puzzled look on their face. NOT the Danny Maddix they thought he was. [Post edited 17 Nov 15:46]

Yeah, we walked for miles. some Rangers commandeered a tractor and trailer on the way back. Some funny moments that day. We got an early train with about 30 others. Got into Yeovil about 11, and a friendly cop stops us. "You'll be safest going into the ground now, you can get soft drinks and food, now line up and follow me". And he strides off, about 3 people follow him and the rest shrug their shoulders and turn the other way and wander off looking for pubs. The copper turned round and looked absolutely crestfallen. So we did get into a pub - proper lively as well, brizzle up to wish us well. And another one from that day - in the pisser with a couple of mates - standing at the urinal before the rumors start- and a real yokel walks in.Now I'm a punk in those days, he walks up to me "You must be pig" "Why's that mate" "All pigs have ring through nose"

The walk back to the station after though, past the old bank converted to a pub on the corner next to the station, was a different matter it absolutely rained down bottles and glasses from said pub as a large group of us walked past, but then again rangers did kinda take it over pre match 😉 Anyway an absolutely top weekend away with a 2 night Newcastle stay thrown in for good measure. Those geordie girls are to die for 😉 [Post edited 13 Feb 2021 20:13]

Funniest moment following QPR on 22:06 - Feb 13 with 2200 views | qprxtc | Rob Steiner. He got clobbered in the knackers near the Loft one game and was down for a good bit of bit of time. Eventually gets up, feeling the effects. Opens his shorts and has a look. Then has a look around the pitch for a missing gonad.
Funniest moment following QPR on 22:20 - Feb 13 with 2184 views | wombat | Away game at Crewe , midweek linesman was so bad we decided to chase him up and down the line for most of the second half giving him dogs abuse for every single decision he made rightly or wrongly , my hamstrings ache now just thinking about it . International funny moment in rekyvik a world renowned in his own head radio football commentator , being told off by. Daphne Biggs at the hotel when trying to borrow one of the hotels videos for some late night solo viewing , one of the confessions series I think it was .

Not there so would really appreciate a description of exactly what happened. It's been heralded so much that I need to know the story and hopefully it's not the classic case of, "You had to be there" because I wasn't.

Funniest moment following QPR on 20:07 - Feb 14 with 1963 views | loftboy | Thought of another, Man City away late 80’s couldn’t find a parking space, one of the locals in a cobbled street had gone out and left their dustbin in their parking space, I moved the dustbin onto the pavement and parked, when I got back to the car after the dustbin had been placed on the roof of my car!

Funniest moment following QPR on 20:19 - Feb 14 with 1934 views | ted_hendrix | At Villa Park when they and us were shit. We actually go 1-0 up so we start singing to them "We're winning away, we're winning away, how shit must you be we're winning away". Just before half time they equalize and promptly start singing to us "We're drawing at home, we're drawing at home, how shit must you be, we're drawing at home"? We eventually lost by the way.

Funniest moment following QPR on 15:48 - Feb 15 with 1741 views | welwynranger | Few years ago. 2 weeks before Christmas. The match delicately poised at 1-1 with about 20 minutes to go. The woman sitting next to me pulled an Argos catalogue out of her handbag then was nudging her husband who was trying to concentrate on the game. Pointing to items saying we can get that for your mum etc. He looked so embarrassed.

I was too busy watching him fall down the hole to notice that they’d scored again.I wondered why everyone was celebrating.I had to wait to see it on the tv to see what a screamer it was.

My daughter was mascot for the Leroy Griffiths friendly against the sw6 sh@t in 2001 and we got the vip treatment before the game.As we were waiting by the reception a player came down the stairs towards us suited and booted.I said to my family,”Look there’s Marcus Bignot.”He came up to us and said,”I’m actually Clarke Carlisle.” My Mrs only mentions it about 10 to 20 times a season now.

I was there. But I missed the half time entertainment, must've been getting a beer or food or something.
Funniest moment following QPR on 12:29 - Nov 17 with 404 views | PeterHucker | talking of half time entertainment anyone remember Villa away, first game of the season, early 90s? Half time entertainment was celebrities doing a penalty shootout against their mascot. The celebrity Villa fan was Peter Withe, who took penalties very successfully as a player and scored the winning goal in a European Cup Final. The celebrity QPR fan was Henry Kelly off of Game For A Laugh and Going For Gold. I don't think he's actually a QPR fan, but he was DJing on Classic FM at the time and they were our shirt sponsors. He was wearing the full kit with his little spindly arms and legs on display. He looked like the victim of some terrible wasting disease. The shootout finished Villa 5 QPR 0. Withe gave a masterclass in how to take penalties. Kelly's penalty kicks barely qualified as feeble, they only just reached the goal line.
Funniest moment following QPR on 12:38 - Nov 17 with 384 views | PeterHucker | not a QPR match but it was at Loftus Road so it counts. Sure I've told this story on here before but anyway..... I went to see England B play France at Loftus Road in the early 90s. I mainly went because Andy Sinton was playing. Me & my brother were standing in the middle of the Lower Loft and every time Gary Mabbutt came anywhere near our end, a bloke nearby shouted out "Oi! Mabbutt!" This carried on for the whole match "Oi! Mabbutt!" every time. Gary Mabbutt could definitely hear this, there wasn't a very big crowd. Near the end of the match, another shout of "Oi! Mabbutt!" and Gary Mabbutt finally responded and looked over our way only for our hero to shout out "You're a CÜNT!" My brother and me still fall about at this now.
