Ralph hints he won't leave Saints 17:23 - Mar 10 with 2474 viewsSaintsforeverj

Ralph is an honest guy. I'm not naive enough to think he wouldn't be tempted by a big club and massive wages, but I believe the words he says. He can't imagine a better job. His wife loves it here, and that's important!!! Gut feeling is that Ralph means what he says.

I don’t remember getting dicked 9-0 when Hughes was manger. Or setting a record for the amount of losses . I reckon Hughes would of got more points from the last 3 games

Yeah but I don’t remember being in a consistent relegation battle for the whole time Ralph’s been here

We are where we deserve to be - 10th.

Given the squad we have, Ralph is doing a pretty decent job. Come the Summer and a few new faces with good quality, we should be aiming for 7th or 8th next season.

Can't argue with that.

Yep, agreed. Saints players as usual when we are safe in mid table, are on the beach. Watford battled for their lives. Next week is the big one. None of us care if we finish 10th or 15th, but we all want to be at Wembley in a few weeks time. A long shot but win next week and the season is still alive.

We'll see against Watford who now have a manager who does his homework.

Not too difficult for Roy was it?
Would love to see a bit of consistency from Saints under Hassenhutl but we aren't going to get it.

Wanting Ralph out after a couple of defeats is totally ridiculous. Who would you want as a replacement and do you you think given the current resources he could get us higher than 10th and in the quarter finals of the FA Cup ?

As for KWP as left back. He has been excellent. Maldini and in particular Lahm both played as right footed left backs or vice versa.

A treble of defeats now...no Broja from the start....why?
Does his attitude piss good players off or what?
Now we have Broja, currently one of the best players in this league sporting a face like a smacked arse. Not unlike the same face that appeared on Danny Ings.
Sorry, but he tinkers far too much and pisses players off - partly because he doesn't have much of a clue and won't listen to others.

Ok but Broja hasn’t been some amazing star recently. As he’s not scored a league goal since Brentford (which is over two months ago now) and he wasn’t the greatest against Newcastle, so maybe letting him stay on the bench and only bringing him on if we needed him (which we did, although he still didn’t produce much) was an understandable decision.
And how’s changing 2 players from last game and keeping basically the same starting 11 ever since Jan (which the exception of the FA Cup games) with only little edits here and there “tinkers far too much”?
As ever since we lost to Arsenal, we’ve now still gotten more points (although it is thinning out) than most fans would’ve expected, as we got great results against Spurs, Man City/united, West Ham etc, but then have recently dropped off and had dropped points against Newcastle, Villa and now Watford.

Broja has been poor in the last few games. Many were saying he needs to be dropped or a rest. That decision was understandable. A young player sometimes needs to be protected, rested whatever. Playing one up front though was strange. Could have played Long and given Adam Armstrong a go. But the big problem today was lack of desire, effort, intensity from the whole team. On the beach they were. But that happens with Saints every season we are safe from relegation.
