| int'l break on 22:49 - Sep 19 with 1127 views | ericofarabia | As an aside, why are we always so crap after a blank weekend? Villa was yet another example from a horrendous back catalogue of similar situations! And next up after this break its Everton .... a team we really should be getting a result against at SMS. A moral sapping defeat really would set us up nicely for City away the week qfter â˜¹ï¸ | | | |
| int'l break on 22:59 - Sep 19 with 1096 views | saintwizzler | We’ll probably lose 1-0 to Everton with a Rondon free header but then get a 1-1 draw at Man City and it’ll be all good again. Until we play West Ham the following weekend. WE MARCH ON | |

We’ll win 1-0 then lose 4 in a row then win 2 and lose 5 in a row , we’ll stutter to the end of the season playing shite football, finish 17th and then he’ll leave .

If he sets up to defend against everton, plays Djenepo at RB, Moi instead of Stu and we lose then his time is up Its like he deliberately tries to alienate our best players either by benching them or playing them out of position
| int'l break on 10:19 - Sep 20 with 876 views | SonicBoom | Ralph is so frustrating. I want to like him but every week he does something that is frankly unfathomable. That would be fine if it worked - it would shut us all up. But usually it doesn't. This week MD played on the other side of the pitch? Last year he couldn't get in the squad. Armstrong upfront? I like the lad's attitude but he simply is not a goal threat. He makes Shane Long look prolific. Elynoussi again works hard no doubt but he just does not impact a game and offers nothing going forward. In fact Ralph now seems obsessed with players that are good "against the ball". All well and good but once we let one in we actually have to score and we are just so bloody passive in attack. I don't think we managed one shot on target did we? Looking at the starting line up you could say that he picked all the players for their ability to defend. That is so negative. It was Villa FFS, they are crap. His continuing treatment of Stuart Armstrong baffles me. He sends on 18 year old lads but leaves him on the bench, he must be well p'ed off. There has ben some good moments this season no doubt but we follow those up with abject performances. Had we lost to Chelsea and beaten Villa we would probably all feel happier, but we ultimately will be judged by what we do against those teams around us. Ralph has a lot at his disposal now but he seems even more confused as to how to get the best from them. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

The trouble with that happening is that Ralph will have sapped all the life, belief & self confidence from all of our young players that they would have had before the season started. I've no doubt most, if not all, of our very talented youngsters were excited about joining Saints in order to actually play football regularly. And then, within weeks, they started to understand Ralph and his weird ways.
