Utter garbage, strolling around like he was on slow walking tour offering absolutely nothing.

clearly did not want to be on the pitch.

Please stop trying defend him
His time is up, the same pattern continues to exist
We just lost to three very average teams withNO fight at all, virtually no shots on target, and three different starting elevens

I see Coady was the MOTM today another signed we missed out on

Ralphs time is up and he has t0 go before we get thumped by City drop even further with a huge minus GD

I’m not defending him, I’m just simply stating that 99% of the time all that sort of media stuff is just complete nonsense, and is probably the case again with that.
As irrelevant of whether you want Ralph in or out, a lot of what the medias said about him and other makers just ain’t true so why bring them up?

Complete rubbish. Lots of people spouting bollix without knowing the facts. Romeu wanted a move back home and deserved his move after years of brilliant service . Who can blame him .

Yeah exactly, as whether you want Ralph in or out (by far a majority want the latter option) you can’t start blaming him for everything and just making up all this nonsense, as it’s just not true, hence why it’s never gonna be an aspect in whether or not the board wanna sack him or not

No...I stated on here 3 months before he left (reluctantly) that he will leave this summer..he didn't want to..he didn't want to leave the club..he was committed as always since his arrival....

He eventually left after it was clear that Ralph wasn't being sacked..

I was told of his complete dismay of how Ralph was destroying the dressing room week in week out by someone that has been a family friend for decades but is well informed.

If you seriously think he left to play games near to his birthplace...you are seriously way off the mark

I’d rather have Will Smallbone back, definitely got something about him, not sure he’s been given a fair chance by Ralph. He’s a Saints fan through and through which has to help.

He got fed up with sitting on the bench while an inferior player, Diallo, was picked ahead of him. He didn't agree with that and neither did the fans. It was a similar situation to Forster and McCarthy.

It’s players like him that make me feel superior to other fans as I can see his class when others can’t, open your eyes

I just opened my eyes and saw the Stoke score yesterday.

I opened my eyes when Watford beat us at home before they were relegated last season and Smallbone was subbed at half time.

And now he’s playing in a Stoke side that got thumped 4-0 at home to Watford.
He isn’t good enough for The Premier League or he’d be starting in our team or another PL team.

He may come good or he may become another Hesketh…

At the moment even Diallo is a better fit in our midfield and that’s saying something.

This ‘one of our own’ and ‘life long Saints fan’ bôllocks has to stop.
Ings is apparently a life long Saints fan…

Have a great day I’m finished on this subject. x

Meanwhile, Nathan Tella scored his 4th goal this season to extend Burnley's unbeaten run to 8 matches.

Maybe that's all it is but it also might be that he turned 23 this summer and has matured into a decent striker. I guess we'll find out when he returns from his loan spell. Footballers mature at different rates and there is the odd exception, like Rooney and Haaland, but not many youngsters score a lot of goals in the Premier League. Nearly all of the top goalscorers are over 21.

Ings was never a saints fan but Smallbone is a life long saints fan. With a better manager when he’s back next season he’ll start to make an impact
