I've long awaited a player who cares enough, shows power and passion on the field, and plugs into the fanbase. A Gary jones type, a trojan.
I hope lloydy continues this great spell and makes joining Rochdale a major event in his career.
Still early days - but for me, he's the reason for Dale's recent turn of fortune. I do think because of his all-action style he'll be a risk of injury.

The other day, someone posted about us needing a 'Lyndon Simmonds' type player in our bid to escape the drop
It is still early days, and direct comparisons are a bit daft, but there's enough similarities between Simmonds and Lloyd to think he might fit the bill. Needs to stay fit of course, but then Simmons had his injury problems too

It's before my time of supporting Dale, I didn't watch until the 90's, but one comparison to make, Is I think he joined in 87 when we were also struggling, and awful on the pitch.
