And there he goes 19:43 - Apr 21 with 3876 viewsMattFinish

Just when you thought Mad Dog Ruben couldn’t surprise you, in comes Adam Armstrong from such obscurity I’d forgotten that he plays for us

Who is Selles going to pick next match to snub Tall Paul? Perhaps the fat lad on the burger van?

Selles on Friday Night Football “we can perform against any team in the league”

Ummm, except Palace, Leeds, Brentford, City, WHU and Grimsby

Mad Dog pulls off a stunner. Takes our best player Alcaraz off at half time and leaves Armstrong and Walcott on

I’m speechless

Another strike of Genius Selles? Taking the MOTM off and leaving AA (who now touched a Ball and of course gabe it away) and Elyounoussi on? Bring on Lyanco who didnt play for ages? Increase the pressure on the back line even more by Not having any outlets to hold the Ball or counter attack?

I think Armstrong touched the ball twice in the first half very very strange sub

I think Alcaraz was injured but totally agree. Should have put on another player who can get us up the pitch. Lyanco was stupid.

As much as I wanted Tall Paul to play, bringing him and Sullemana on at 3-1 up was suicidal
We drew that in spite of Selles rather than because of him
I’d rather have got thrashed tonight and won against Crystal Palace

Diallo for Lavia was special. Bazanu another assist, with just a normal bang average keeper we’d be out of the relegation Zone

Apart from the respite we got when 3-1 we knew what was going to happen.
To sit back on a lead like that was always going to be suicidal and I blame the manager for that, too negative.

Agreed...Bazunu just doesn't save long shots or parries out efforts into the danger zone. Not big enough nor quick enough and no experience at this level. Rasmus you plonker

Credit to Selles I think he got most of that right. It looked like Alcaraz got a knock in the first half. The rejigged defence didn't give Arsenal a shot on target until the last 10 minutes. Tall Paul & Sullemana were an attempt to hold the ball up the pitch & it partially worked.

We were playing a top class team & it's not surprising that we tired towards the end.

If we keep playing like that we could pick up points against anybody.

Poll: Where do you hope to see Salisu start (OK, I know we haven't seen him yet)?

Alcaraz wasn't injured. Selles told SKY afterwards that he was subbed because he'd received a yellow card during the first half.
