Next season s squad - any one got suggestions for signings 22:13 - May 4 with 23437 viewsnumptydumpty

Seen as Reading down and his dad got sacked and no idea if we can afford his wages but we certainly need more strength and ability in midfield, think Tom Ince could be a decent shout.

Can't see him playing in league one.

Guessing money could be an issue though.

I will start a rumour, QPR wants to sign Left Back George Cox on a freebie from Fortuna Sittard.

My reasoning is we have tried to sign him twice before, but Fortuna Sittard wanted more money than the £500K we wanted to spend; however, now he's OOC and available on a freebie. Played most games for them (so not injury prone ... until we play him of course).

This is based on no evidence or even rumours whatsoever, apart from this one I have just started.

Could be useful as a backup for Paal or better than Paal. At least it would mean we can forget about travel man until he has reached his final destination of some obscure club in Finland.

zzzzzzzzzz

I see Tariqe Fosu is out of contract at Brentford this summer. No idea if we are going for him but he’s a player I’ve always liked and is quite pacy.

I guess we're going to get linked with virtually every OOC player from League One in particular by the News Now bots, but one that seems to be attracting particular mention is Regan Poole, CB from Lincoln. Anyone know much about him?

Assuming we're going to lose Lowe, Martin, Roberts, Laird, Balogun, Adomah, Amos, Dieng, Johanson, Chair, Willock, Field and Dozzell, and Richards is injured, can we have Dom Ball back now?

I expect Ipswich would give him back for free!

Admittedly, being injured all season (less time on the pitch than Richards?) hasn't helped him, but Luongo has taken that position to rave notives.

All I know is he can play RB and CB. Rumours linking him to us have been around for a good few months now. No idea if there's anything in them though.

Yes they will all go.

And we will loan Armstrong out for the season to get relevant experience so that means our squad is

Archer

Paal Dickie Dunne Kakay

Dykes

So a formation of 4-0-1 and a sub standard goalkeeper and no subs !!!!

LUMP ON QPR ODDS FOR RELEGATION

Thanks, Fella, Hadn't seen him mentioned before, but not surprised to know he had been linked, It's that time of the year now where that rumour mill goes into overdrive, of course.

Lewis Wing has officially left Wycombe and I'd be shocked if we haven't already been in contact

Would be a good signing. Decent age, durable and worth a try in the championship. Wouldn’t be too heavy on the wages and certainly wouldn’t take the piss out of management. Must be his decision to leave as I’m sure they would have extended his contract

Yep he's chosen to pursue new opportunities apparently, he knows he'll have plenty of Championship interest but this is the one time we'll have the upper hand on other clubs!

I would have thought this might well be our first signing. Would be a good addition to the squad

But isn't that rather encouraging if a player or three wants to come to us from Wycombe (because, presumably GA is here) ?

Wouldn’t want any of the other OOC players from Wycombe. Lewis Wing definitely the one to take with reasonable wage demands a plus as well as he’d be given a chance to prove himself at a higher level.
Just looked at his stats.
Played. 44
Goals 9
Assists 5.
Pretty decent return from M/F
Good business if indeed it does happen. Hope we are not jumping the gun

Liam Bennett at Cambridge United.
21 y/o right-sided defender who likes to get forward and support the attack.
Lots of energy and a very positive player.
Saw a couple of Cambridge games when I was back home visiting from Sweden and he stood out for me.
Averages between 6 to 7.5 in player ratings which is fantasyland for any of our gone missings..

The Bulawayo Gruntypigs' 49 year old, one-legged striker Scranus McGee would be out of our price range.

That's a shame, Dorse, Especially after he's just won the Gruntypigs' Player's Player of the Season award.

How many more chances would Shodipo need before we're fully confident he's not good enough?

in 6 years we've given him 44 games 38 in the league most from the bench. Whilst I get that most people think hes not good enough, he has never had a run of games in the Blue and White to prove it. Where he had a full season at Oxford in Lg 1 he scored 12 goals and 3 assists...

Now maybe he wont make a Champ footballer, but saying hes had enough chances at the level is wrong I think...

Ive said before - its a disgrace that we have a player who has been here 6 years and hasnt made the 50 cap mark...

Pretty sure he'll go in the next couple of weeks, but frankly I think its the club that has let him down...
