Ukrainians are enduring a nightmare right now. Cut them some slack. Their country is being bombed to smithereens. If they choose to boo their opponents in a football match, so what? Our fans booed the Italian anthem and attacked their fans at Wembley over Brexit FFS.
PS I was only watching on TV but it appeared to me that the Ukrainian fans were remarkably tolerant of the England fans in their midst. They weren't getting attacked like the Italian fans at Wembley were. [Post edited 9 Sep 2023 22:20]

As before after England fail to win, or even win by a big margin, it’s ‘dull England’.
We are unbeaten sitting at the top of the table. 9 points clear of 3rd place. With a GD of +14.
The job is to qualify from the group, which we will do with ease.
Job done and on to the tournament.
It’s the result that matters, always, not the performance.
I’d take a dull 1-0 win every time compared to any loss.

England have some of the same issues as Saints (e.g. not enough movement so everything is static and too slow) but they do have quality players who can break down a defence. The problem is, Southgate doesn't know how to use them. Playing Maddison out of position isn't going to work. They need to find a better shape that can make use of their talents.
