You were calling for jones to go and he only got 8 league games? So is it ok for you to call for a manager to go but no one else?
Martin is carrying on the tradition of making bizarre excuses in his press conference. He has no track record of success. Jones at least had done something with Luton and took over a team that wasnt fit for the premiershp. Martin according to you has taken over the strongest squad in the league and cant get a tune out of this lot. His tactics mean we currently have the worse defence in the league.

Despite Nick's appeals for time and calm the cause of the disquiet is the results and unfortunately that is the sole responsibility of the manager and the people who employed them. Like most Saints fans I don't expect ( but would like) us to win more than we lose but I cannot forgive is our continued repeat of the same basic mistakes. Russel Martin claims he has been brought in to do certain things and play a certain way. IMHO surely those things were not to let in record numbers of goals and lose as many matches as possible. | | | |
