His last appearance for Dale appears to have been Jan 3 1920 at home to Bradford City reserves in the Central league. This was the first season of post war football.
His only other appearance that season was in the FACup, a 2-1 win at his old club South Liverpool on December 20th 1919 which got us into to the equivalent of the third round and the famous game at Arsenal.
