Aribo & Tall Paul Reach AFCON Final 22:47 - Feb 7 with 1013 viewsSaintNick

Nigeria beat South Africa on Penalties, Aribo came on as a sub in extra time and Tall Paul was an unused sub.

The final will be played on Sunday, so Aribo should be back in the squad for the trip to West Brom and just as the games start to come thick and fast

Tall Paul's really helped Nigeria get to the final, 4 appearances from the bench, and played a grand total of 5 minutes in the whole tournament

Only 2 players from the 25 man squad didn't make the subs bench tonight, guess who one of em was?

You can't easy pull the wool over that Nigeria manager eyes.

If Nigeria didn't rate him he wouldn't be in the squad in the first place.
Nigeria are a very good team.

Wrong and wrong again.

He only got in the squad cos Umar Sadiq was injured.

Nigeria are ranked 42nd in World rankings, 6 places behind the might of Bonny Scotland,
13 behind Wales and 21 behind those World heavyweights Iran, very good team eh?

Nigeria have qualified for 6 of the last 8 world cups.
They have just qualified for the AFCON final.
Plenty of Nigerians have played our top divisions.

Don't get in such a state when anyone mentions Tall Paul its obviously not good for your blood pressure.

Nigeria have stunk the place out in the World Cup finals recently winning 2 games from 13 (Bosnia and Iceland) this century.
Getting to the final says more about how weak the others are, the standards terrible, as Nigeria have been pants for the last 25 years.

If TP, although not originally picked, gets anywhere near any squad, it would only tell you it's obviously a very rank squad. Still he's stretched his legs, waddled around for 5 minutes in over 600 in 6 games, may have even touched the ball.
Perhaps the gaffers saving him for the final
Yeah right, and I've gotta rocking horse that sh1ts

Not much hope for Aribo then.
