Various outlets now claiming that Spurs and City (again) are looking at Ebs with Palace valuing him at c.7 million pounds. As an Aussie, I obviously know a bit about what Big Ange wants in a player and I’d say Eze fits the bill - quick, skilful and mobile. Defo an Ange type as far as I can see. Is it 10 or 20% we’re in for if he’s sold? Cash injection like that could make next season a bit more comfortable.
Hope he gets his big move as he’s a great example of determination and self confidence. Should get more England caps at a bigger club too.
It would be just like us if Eze goes to City for £50m and Grealish goes the other way for £70m and we pick up the shortfall on our percentage and end up owing Palace money back.
😂 fortunately I don't think any City player would want to go to Palace.
I only wish they’d learn how to pronounce his name on motd. The bloke last night pronounced it as ezair and the panel were saying it as eza. Almost as the bloke that cha ir for our Illias.Has the bloke never phoned our box office and been told that he is the smallest cha ir at the club?
Danny Murphy really bigging him up on motd2 last night. Saying he is a champions league player, and there's no way he'll be at Palace next season
Watched highlights link above last night,
Loved watching him play at ours, was obviously such a special talent and when I see this I do think:
1) How did so many of our fans under-rate him? (no real surprise I suppose reading our forums & social media)
2) How did Ilias Chair go to work with a master craftsman 5 days a week, not look over and just learn the art of playing with your head up and playing a first time pass?
Eze had a hand in maybe all 5 goals and the common denominator was the 1st time pass, not the hokey kokey in out in out for that lad, head up and pass it!
I always give him a 10 whenever he plays. We need the money XD
Ha ha I thought it was only me sad enough to do that. When he goes for £70m, thanks to the City analyst looking at the BBC ratings, we pat ourselves on the back.

I do it as well
AND WHEN I DREAM , I DREAM ABOUT YOU AND WHEN I SCREAM I SCREAM ABOUT YOU!!!!!
That's what I'm hoping for and there are rumours of Citeh looking to sell Grealish this summer.
Pep has been dropping Grealish a lot for a £100m player. He's not fast enough on the transition for Pep.
Useful for unlocking stubborn defences that hang back against the smaller clubs. But for the Real Madrid types, he wants a faster, more direct football on the breakaways to punish the oppo. Grealish slows the game down too much.
Whereas Eze speeds it up by dribbling forwards a lot and playing 1-2's as quickly as possible.
Let's hope they flog them quickly before his stock wanes. A cheeky bid from Manure would help force Peps hand.

He does tend to play Grealish though in these big games, thought he did quite well against Madrid last week but he's lost that maverick freedom which made him such a brilliant player to watch when he was at Villa, he is safety first all the time rather than trying to score
