As someone who enjoys a bit of nostalgia and likes the odd nod to the teams history.
I think an updated version of the green and white hoops is well and truly due.
Not only is it visually good despite resembling Celtic, but that's the catch, let's really rub the salt into the wounds of Ian Beale, and have this as an away kit next season.
Could be tastefully done. The green doesn't need to be the garish green of previous kits, it could be a tad darker, with a very vibrant white and maybe some pintriping of sorts on the sleeves between the hoops...even the gold pin striping with a darker green would look good I think.
If we end up having one of these PUKE numbers for the away kit, I will be livid. Errea, LESS IS MORE!! you've done well with the kits.... make us a nice one with a nod to the past.

As far as away kits go there's nothing more boring than just completely plain coloured kits. I remember in the mid-noughties it felt like everyone's away kit was just yellow....boooooorrrriiiiinnnngggg.
Being a club that famously plays in hoops I don't understand why we don't have all our change strips in hoops all the time. Or I could get on board with stripes/halves/checkers simply because its not plain which is boring.
So I'd be all up for a hooped away kit again, perhaps in colours we've not had before. A nice yellow and red number like Partick Thistle perhaps.

Yep - anything hooped has always been my mantra too - it's our (ahem) USP after all.
Due to being "of a certain age", I also like the quarters / halves too tho.

I’ve always wanted blue and black like a hooped inter Milan.
We can play our home kit against teams that play all in blue. The away kit against teams that play in white (Leeds, derby) or blue and white (West Brom)

We have had green and black hoops a couple of years ago.
Official 3rd kit 6 years ago before the pink one. I liked it. Even bought the socks - well it was either that or a fridge magnet and a pencil case to use up my loyalty points.

My first shirt was the Green and White Brooks, I love us in Green and White, historic for us plus I have a soft spot for Celtic, there's a big Irish connection to us i think. It'd sell well I'd imagine

In my opinion, we are one of very few English clubs with hoops on our home kit which gives us a strong visual identity, so it doesn't make sense to me to NOT have some kind of hoops on the away kit as well.
Errea seem to get this. The only non-hooped away kit we've had since we've been with them is this one, which seems to be a callback to the 1982 Cup Final shirt.
Before that we've had quite a lot of non-hooped away shirts, including various horrors in the Nike / Lotto period.
1 non-hooped away kit I've got a massive soft spot for is this one. In fact I might dig mine out to wear at Coventry next week.
