Now the can’t even get their own ticketing info correct 17:39 - Mar 21 with 1002 views | saintmark1976 | This morning I received an email telling me that as a season ticket holder I could purchase two additional tickets at a discounted price for the upcoming Fulham fixture. This afternoon I received an email telling me that pricing information in this morning’s email was incorrect and that tickets can only be purchased at the standard rate. I don’t want additional tickets at any price, but honestly is there anything now left that Sports Republic can’t mess up ?

Have a holiday Nick, are you seriously suggesting that the ticket office are a separate entity and Sports Republic’s so called “management” have no control over them ?

Yes I am seriously suggesting that there has been a mistake in the ticket office that is so far down the list of priorities that Sport Republic have to deal with, that the directors of Sport Republic would have absolutely no input into this error. If you check your receipt at Tesco's and find that you have not been given the right price on the latest club card offer, you do not take to social media demanding that the Owner & CEO of the company immediately resign, because an employee in the Millbrook branch has got something wrong. You simply pop along to the services desk, show them your receipt and they give you a refund, if you have got out of bed in a bad mood that morning you might also have a little dig at the person behind the counter. Sport Republic have a chain of management, the ticket office manager will be right down the list of that.

Again Nick and said only in fun, do have a holiday. “ Sports Republic have a chain of management, the ticket office manager will be right down the list of that” your words not mine. So on that basis ultimate responsibility for the ticket office managers actions rests with Sports Republic’s management does it not ? If not, then with whom exactly pray ? [Post edited 24 Mar 17:23]

This happened with the Villa tickets too. If the employees keeps f@cking up, and it's their fault as you suggest, you would expect the bosses to get involved to stop it happening again. These owners do not have their fingers on the pulse. A good restaurant owner would get involved if the chef kept serving up terrible food. Not the fault of the owner that the chef serves bad food, but it kind of is, if the owner keeps letting the chef serve terrible food without sacking them.

If someone served me up my £17 Dell Burger at The Dell and it wasn’t right Solak would be getting a strongly worded email. He can stick his ten year plan to be Eastleigh MK II!! BRING BACK GAO BRING BACK RALPH

I am taking it in good humour, yes you could say that the ultimately what the ticket office manager does ultimately rests with Sport Republic, but there is the chain of management. someone mentioned if they have a bad meal at the restaurant they complain to the manager, if it is a small restaurant the manager will probably be the owner, if you are in a Harvester or another chain, not so likely, but you still complain to the manager and not the owner. So why are people blaming Sport Republic and not the ticket office manager, at the end of the day in the scale of SFC's woe's this year, an e mail giving some wrong info out that was quickly rectified is not the end of the world. Dragan Solak has a lot more things on his plate than popping over to have a few sharp words with the ticket office manager.

"So why are people blaming Sport Republic and not the ticket office manager" For the same reason that I am not blaming the 6 different first team managers, who have all failed, for the recruitment of mostly terrible players, under different managers, 2 relegations in 3 years (the owners never learn from their mistakes), 6 strikers bought that can't score, 10 defenders bought that can't defend, under various managers / directors of football and now we have a new sporting director, whose only answer is to provide a pathway through the academy. There already is a pathway, just that the good young players take a different pathway to Liverpool, Manchester and London. What's the point of young players playing in the first team.if they arn't good enough? More Man City under 19s in coming. It didnt work. The answer is this "We will take the risk like Forest did a few years back and spend 400 million on the team. We will invest, speculate to accumulate, pay top, top.players the going rate, attract the most talented managers and give the Saints supporters what they deserve. IF a young player is good enough, we will show our ambitions to them, pay them well and put them in the first team. Oh and we will make sure that emails, and all correspondence are checked by appointing the most talented ticket office managers in the world, not cheap ones for the future." If I own a restaurant and appoint a well known, established top chef, I know that the food will be good. If I appoint an unknown, they probably will serve up tripe on a plate.
