Derby 20:24 - Mar 29 with 3408 views | builthjack | Have sold their 1975 ticket allocation for next Saturday. We need to step it up and attend if you can. Huge huge game. Crucial.

I said a few weeks back that these 3 games ( Derby, Plymouth, Hull) were the 3 that mattered, get 7 points off these and we'll be fine but even so I feel we have to beat Derby as they are closest to us. If we get something in Sunderland though Hull becomes less important. After how we played against Leeds that looks possible now. These next 2 games though, massive, win these 2 and we look fairly safe without worrying about other results.

Derby will beat PNE as they have little to play for which makes next Saturday the most important game since soton 7 years ago. We will have to play with more intensity than yesterday to beat derby as they will be well up for it.

The club don’t seem to try at all to get bums on seats. It seems whoever is in charge of this hasn’t a scooby.

Unfortunately with an annual loss of £15 million giving away tickets for free is no way to run a club. Plenty of cheap offers for the good Friday game.

It is if you want to sell merchandise before the new seasons stock arrives, if you want to sell products at the catering outlets, if you want to create an atmosphere and build a new fan base for the future. Then again the club could be shortsighted as they are now. Many supporters are away for Easter.

Indeed. People spend money on merchandise and refreshments, if we play well they will come back. Get them in for peanuts. Anything is better than nothing.

Preston only have 2 points more than us, I don't think they can go to Derby with a care free attitude, I think if they avoid defeat they will be literally safe Wednesday night, surely they will battle for that

Ahh, tbh rayns I didn't look at the table, I took for granted that pne had more points. That's good to know, as you say they will put a fight up as they won't want to be dragged into a relegation battle.

Derby on 05:44 - Apr 2 with 783 views | PawelAbbott | In early 2003, when we were bottom of the league an average gate of about 2,000 and without the proverbial pot to pee in, someone had the idea of halving the price of tickets. The attendance more than doubled and the club hasn't looked back since. We have maintained and grown that level of attendance ever since, even managing sell out crowds for the famous Hull game. A couple of cheap games with good performances can regenerate some interest from those who gave up on attending under Martin, Williams and the previous owners [Post edited 2 Apr 12:36]

Sadly, we don't have the rock solid support clubs like Derby have I see excuses if Christmas Holidays Easter Cold Dark nights Rain Rugby And they are all excuses I believe the damage done is deep rooted starting on the capitulation season the Prem Many will never forgive that Martins tenure, as previously stated was arguably the damaging we have had , followed by Zduff then the ludicrous Williams appointment Swansea Bay population is not small and much bigger than Derby but their support comes from all over the county, as ours should There is a feeling of disaffection that our club needs to address They also need to value fans properly and market this great club of ours

Fans need to play their part too. If it takes Brendan Rodgers football in the Premier League to draw them back, we’ve no chance. The likes of Derby, Sunderland, Norwich etc have all had their share of poor seasons, unpopular owners and dire football. The fans kept going. [Post edited 2 Apr 11:00]

Derby on 11:25 - Apr 2 with 524 views | Azzuriswan | There is no rugby on Saturday that should force fans to make a decision about whether or not to watch the Swans. The weather is set fair so will be pleasant in the spring sunshine. AS has got the players playing a more exciting style of football that will get bums off seats with a lot more oohs and aahs.. Perhaps kids for a quid should have been advertised for Saturday as well as the Hull game. Perhaps try a bring a friend for less....it worked many years ago
