Once again the first half killed us and its no good unless we score first in the second half and that did not heppen.
Paul Smyth made 2 bad decisions on the break in the first half IMO one leading directly to their second goal which was very disappointing to see go in.

There are lots of things at play here;
- we’re not big club that has infinite income, we can only acquire the players of the ability our spending powers allows. As has been said often, if our players were better than they are then they’d be playing elsewhere.
- FFP/PSR rules mean we can no longer have an owner just buy, buy, buy and even then, there’s no guarantee. We’re perfect proof of that from 10 years ago
- Players are under contract and will still get paid whether they play or not meaning a drain on our resources if they are left in the cold.
- if a player is indeed not very good, who would want to buy them from us?
- There are two transfer windows so from the start of the season until January and February until the end of the season, you’re pretty much stuck with the players you have.
I’m sure there’s more but I think it’s a lot harder running a club than may be thought which is why throwaway comments really should be thought through first.
