I suppose that if he echoes Adam Armstrong's "we haven't given 100%" line, he would get pelters for that.
I rarely take any notice of what players or managers say as it's usually just spin.
It's more interesting when you read stuff like what Alfie House came out with earlier this week; that's far more insightful.

That lady is certifiable and I would suspect even her mother hates her BUT she is the ultimate lightening conductor allowing the journos to exhaust themselves before Trump wanders out later in the day to tell us how many wars he's started...err.. I mean ended.
Stephens is a good candidate for the old recommendation that it's better to say nowt,

I suspect that we just benefitted from an exceptional 'new manager bounce' and that our players are now back to playing at their normal standard.
Often a new manager's tactics can take the opposition by surprise. Pushing our 2 wing-backs far forward and getting the ball to them quickly in counterattacks did that for a while, but soon managers learned to exploit the spaces they left behind, which is how we concede most of our goals now. Sending JS out on the PR run is not really reading the room very well.
What I would love to see Eckert, Spors , Stephens , Armstrong and Scienza together in a live interview with the press and fan reps.
