Very powerful few minutes stopping outside Loftus Road seeing as he spent so many great times inside a lovely tribute .RIP

Today is for you Alan. Our honour has been restored. Wish I could get over...but sadly not possible. RIP my good friend.

Barnsey would have been delighted with today’s results. One of our biggest ever fans. We will pay our respects to him on Wednesday.

I’m afraid I never knew Alan either but learned a lot about him from the article in the 400th issue of AKUTRs, the third last copy of which Julie sold me outside the Loftus Road entrance after the match yesterday. Some wonderful anecdotes contained therein. Sounds like he was quite a character. RIP, fella, and best wishes to all his friends and family.
