Now the guy involved in this story? I think the less drugs in his system, the better it would have been for everyone concerned.
Now he was 'drug-induced-mobile' cropping up here, there and everywhere and the last time I heard about him involved yet more of unsavory behaviour, this time in Swansea SA1.
The other guy that I previously mentioned i.e. the one that was abusing NHS staff? Well he made South Wales Evening Post for an horrific baseball bat attack on English tourists down the Gower, and later ended up with life imprisonment for another different matter. The link between the two anti-socials? Both druggies, surprise, surprise!
Less drugs and of course less lunacy involving other matters i.e. rape gangs walking free by being given two-tier carte blanche preference, and to think former soldiers had the total opposite treatment and have become victims of the likes Kier Starmer, Lloyd Hermer and Phil Shiner acting like Witchfinder Generals. The crime? Serving their country! Talk about obscene justice!
The U.K has become one sick basket case.
Drugs are at the root of nearly all crime Legalising it will stop nothing Drug dealers will not go on to be law abiding people working in a real job A sizeable proportion of young drivers are driving whilst doped , fact Drink less of a problem Drugs are virtually acceptable and that is the problem
Imagine this country where kids are advised at school how to take drugs

That is Greens policy
Thousands have voted for them
Totally in agreement.
Even in rural areas like mine with low crime rate. As you know my friend we chose to live here to raise our kids in relative safety and if it's a problem here God knows how endemic it is in the less salubrious areas of the Home Counties.
Out walking you smell the weed drifing from passing cars with their music pumping. Sometimes several times a day and it's different vehicles different areas you smell it about people's person in public areas and can tell when a group or individuals are supplementing their drinking in pubs with cocaine which is now cheap and readily available. Coke, drink and weed all have negative effects on driving capability. Cocaine in my opinion the worst as it masks the effects of booze making the person feel in control at the wheel but prone to bad implusive decisions like speeding, lack of seatbelts, mobile use and thinking they are wired when the alcohol and cocaine are both affecting decision making and not even Nigel Mansell could perform an emergency stop after smoking skunk or any of the modern high THC % varieties of weed.
It's a main topic of concern between residents, parish & borough councillors and the police. In December alone TVP made 469 arrests for drink and drug driving with a 209/260 split. Not just 'kids' main demographic of arrests 30-39 who should know better.
Smack, spice and ketamine are lesser problems in this area thankfully but seem to be increasing in use nationwide. I know Swansea and the rest of Wales has its problems with them from what I read and friends and family tell me.
Broken Britain - you gotta love it !!

Exactly.
Many of the policies put forward by the likes of Reform and Restore that are slammed as Fascist by the purple haired loons now were pretty standard and accepted societal norms for decades.
I do disagree that New Labour "failed" though. Given that most of the major problems society faces today have their roots in what Blair did starting in 1997 and he, his family and those of a similar mindset massively enriched themselves and still basically control things today I'd suggest that it succeeded beyond his wildest dreams.
Yes it failed for the country though. Parliament used to be the top court in the country and could legislate without restrictions apart from the ones imposed by itself. Blair’s constitutional reforms have hamstrung subsequent Parliaments as they have to navigate a complex web of bureaucracy and comply with rules set by supranational agreements. Judicial activists have been having a field day ever since.
Devolution has been nothing but an abject failure in all four constituent parts of the United Kingdom.
The policy of letting any and every moron go to university to pursue a pointless degree in a useless subject instead of focusing young people on trades and skills that will actually be useful to them in life was and is catastrophic.
And the fallout from the Iraq war we are still living with today.

We need to stop people doing dope That simple Legalising it won’t do that
"Just say no." That worked well didn't it?
De criminalise it. Control and regulate it.Let users get their fix in clean secure places, with proper supervision and quality control. It's not the drug that harms, it's the impurities from street dealers that do that. It will put dealers out of business overnight and will reduce the need for crime. The current war on drugs has been a disaster. Time for another approach.
It's worked wherever it's been tried. What could be simpler?

Heroin doesn’t harm people?
Not in controlled doses. Many take it for years without any ill effects. Most addicts eventually stop by themselves. It's not like the movies.it's the dirty cut street heroin that does the damage. A dealer could be giving 30% as normal, then next dose it's 40%. That's how overdoses happen, not by the user taking more.
There are so many misconceptions about drug taking

Aye, nothing like fueling a benefit claimant count to offset the tax revenue? Nothing like another million on a lifetime of benefits, because a government supplied the drugs and ‘golden opportunity’ to do exactly that.
And I guess the lorry driver who gets up at 6:00 in the morning to get home after a ten hour shift, or the ‘high-viz’ guy traversing the precarious ‘over-hang’ section one hundred feet up in the rain and freezing winds?
I bet they will be absolutely delighted to know that their taxes are helping to pay for a relentless supply of free heroin, housing and benefits for those unemployables that will never work again? But they do have a career choice? To do exactly that themselves! And that will become another problem for another day?

The biggest being cannabis is not harmful It’s ok to drive next morning after chilling with a solid or Snorting some snow whilst watching Corrie You’re not being controversial , simply a tw@t You’re dangerous
Discouraging people NOT to take drugs is the way forward No market , no need for suppliers No need to rob , burgle or scam to get high
You are so typical of those who are utterly removed from reality

You're not a violent man? You used to brag about smacking drunks around in Liverpool during the evenings.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

The local lad slitting a goat’s throat and terrorising a neighborhood aside? I shall give another prime example from many regarding the frightening repercussions of drug use. I shall refer to a person, whom would have made himself a prime candidate for a government funded 'drug-proliferation-programme'. His name would have been first down on the list if he had his way.
I shall refer to him as “Dai”!
Now “Dai” went to progress from early stage drug taking to murder two children, a young mother and grandmother one night.
No matter where “Dai” lived, went, or was seen, he caused trouble whether that be: Upper King’s Road….trouble…. Cadle Crescent….trouble….Rhyddwen Road…trouble....Kelvin Road...trouble.
Murders aside, bizarre inexplicable ritualistic-sadism was evident at the aforementioned murder scene that was just not ‘normal’ for a person of ‘clear mind’. So much so that It perplexed the senior investigating officer... "Psychosis" was mentioned at the trial!
And it was not only at that particular murder scene either, but during another murder attempt (police know about this) when he attacked a guy with an iron bar, to then (not on Google) inexplicably put the bar down, to go downstairs to get a hammer for a more ‘intimate’ killing experience.
Now “Dai” was rather out of his mind during those times!!!! Now “Dai’s” drugs of choice were injectable amphetamines and cannabis. I tell you now, the last thing this country needs to do is to create more “Dai’s” of this world.

I remain staggered when folk declare cannabis is less harmful than alcohol Cannabis users remain calm and chilled whereas drinkers get aggressive and violent Apparently
Taxing cannabis ? Sorry but that would see users looking for cheaper dope as it’s human nature There would always be a supply issue and dealers would simply take up the slack They would also tout for stronger cannabis It is absolutely dumb beyond words
I recall Tony Blair scrapping the licensing laws as they were and seeing clubs etc open until dawn as it would encourage “ sensitive” drinking
Kier Starmer when DPP approved warning notices for rapists on 10:52 - Mar 2 by union_jack
I’m afraid this argument holds water only if those buying it in a legalised market are those that use it illegally. However, legalising it would bring so many other people into using it that it would be damaging not only in a cost way but also in everyday behaviour of people. These drugs are extremely harmful and it could be said that legalising it would be aiding and abetting people’s health opening up a whole load of law suits later on.
It’s a definite no from me. Starting with cannabis.
Agreed, and the govt would be endorsing the sale and taxing it, and the usual folk would still go to their dealers as they wouldn’t want to be identified or known on potential govt databases as a user.
And buying it from a dealer would still be cheaper.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

That's not what has happened in countries that have de criminalised it. There was also a pilot scheme in Liverpool some years ago. it was working too until the funding was stopped.
It doesn't have to be taxed. It's not like you can go and buy it at Tesco or Boots, it will be given to registered addicts who are already identified. It won't be cheaper and it will be of better quality. No bad cutting agents. no collapsed veins or ulcers, no overdoses, less crime. who could possibly oppose this?

Gorton by election voters , and their families in the voting booths have got their way .
Put your X here and vote for a Party more madder than The Monster Raving Loony Party with Lord Sutch at the steering wheel .
It was comical at the time for him standing but now the dynamics in voting patterns is taking a more sinister pattern , only a 48 % turn out , so people fed up or tactical votes cast .
Can this fraud really be a Leader , beaten by a nobody on a crusade of Green .
Starmer it seems has ignored the mess Blair made invading areas out of our control and the RAF base in Cyprus is now under threat .
Where does he turn to next , internal chaos in the UK , all self inflicted by his inability to stop a few rubber boats crossing The Channel and U turns every day .
Incoming nukes or Government meltdown , Starmer you really have your hands tied now .

Other countries ? What like those Tony Blair told us drank sensibly so we could and therefore extended licensing hours We still drink like clowns
Drug dealers won’t go away if it’s legal Drug dealers won’t get a job They won’t quit crime They will find something else

Oh dear, oh dear me. where do we start on this one. Well here we go Mr Controversial.......
Who can oppose this? Answer!.... Someone who is well informed, and will have the consequences of drug abuse on his/her conscience, like a doctor who will be forced to prescribe ‘lifestyle’ choice drugs (as opposed to medicinal) that disobeys a line in the classical version of the Hippocratic oath.
No overdoses? No drug related illnesses? Crime?
What about benzodiazepine suicide overdoses from both legally prescribed medication and street source drug dealing? Those toxicology reports hey!
What about heart problems from (described as the perfect heart attack drug) Cocaine and other central nervous system stimulant drugs?
What about drug related 'atrial fibrillation' which increases the risk of having a stroke by 500%, because it "throws off blood clots"?
What about people doing a "Syd Barrett" and permanently losing the plot after taking LSD, amphetamine, and Mandrax?
What about cannabis and amphetamine related psychosis and schizophrenia?
What about accidental 'cocktail' overdoses from drug addicts, that want to be spaced-out to the max and take extra drugs in 'combo' to do just that? Those toxicology reports hey?
What about people choking to death on their own vomit, because they have mixed drugs with alcohol? Those toxicology reports hey?
What about domestic abuse, violent crime and murder, especially when people mix drugs with alcohol? Those crime reports hey?

Wouldn't it be nice if nobody took drugs. Got drunk, didn't smoke, didn't eat sugar, swear fight? They do though as humans are flawed, some will take substances.always have, always will.We have to make it as safe as we can

A peed up drinker trying to buy booze just before designated closing time and and being out of contol in his actions at the tills , front line staff take the hit in retail these days .
Customers who do reek of weed which is normal this day and age are generally buy your goods and leave quietly , never a problem in my experience .
The coked up ones are a different level sadly , hyper , shouty and a pain to come across .
Make weed legal but then the problem will lead to harder drug use in the future .
Whichever way the problem of drugs is being addressed it aint working .
