Bit of a statement from Eddie Howe as Newcastle play Manchester United , could mean that they might exercise their permanent deal option in the summer.

Alternatively looking at the thread heading, he might be heading to Rome

Ramsdale has made 2 magnificent saves., without which 10-man Newcastle wouldn't have won. He really is a top class goalkeeper.

I heard on a match commentary that last season Saints made the most errors leading to opposition goals in the league and Ramsdale didn't make any. That's quite remarkable.

Not a bad move by Howe having two brilliant goalkeepers.

My favourite moment in last night’s game was when Conor McNamara on comms said “How Aaron Ramsdale would love to keep a shit out…shut out…”

I paused and rewound so I could record it on my phone for posterity.

Ramsdale couldn’t keep a clean sheet but he was still very good and kept NUFC in the game.

I fully expect him to sign a longer contract to keep taking the Saudi shilling.

He’s far too good for us at the moment unfortunately.

You cannot reason a person out of something they were not reasoned into.

If you can't keep a shit out then it's difficult to keep a clean sheet.
