I see Will Still as football's equivalent of Liz Truss. They both persuaded some useless gullibles (SR and the Tory Membership respectively) to give them a gig that they had no ability to perform at all.
It is also worth remembering that, outside Her Majesty's immediate family, Truss was pretty much the last person the late Queen met.
When Truss left the audience room, Her Majesty asked "Who the hell was that? When informed it was the new Prime Minister, The Queen was heard to say " Oh my good f***ing God"
Pretty much what we said after Still's first 10 games in charge.

It's been an amazing season apart from the first few months under Will Still. If we fail to go up automatically then it's all down to one man "Will Still". He'll live long in our memories, but for all the wrong reasons. I think what is amazing is that SR appointed him in the first place.
Still was the wrong man at the wrong time I can understand why they appointed him.Young, progressive coach who'd done pretty well in France and considering the car crash of a season we'd had previously, I doubt people were falling over themselves to take the job. We've got very lucky with TE, he's done a brilliant job so far but had we have given him the job in the summer I think that would have been a quirky, thinking outside the box decision from Sport Republic too far for most people

Chelsea are a cut-throat, nasty club. Under the new young gaffer there, their last six PL games have been LWLLLL. He'll be gone soon enough. Clubs & fans don't have the time needed to let a young manager do things their way - especially clubs like Chelsea & Spurs.
We're paying for Will Still's dire football. I think he was given a fair chance. He was just so out of his depth here.

It wasn't working because Will Still was useless. We wern't to know he would be that useless but he was. The players weren't playing for him, great players like Matsuki, Fellows, Azaz were dropped, Bree sent out on loan, no tall striker, a terrible goalkeeper, Stephens thrown out of the team, Bragg not even considered, an absolute mess on the pitch, all under his watch. He couldn't make the fans' forum, players raving about Tonda's tactical detail tells us all we need to know about how bad it was before. The worst manager we have ever had imo. That final game against Hull when asked how he could solve things his answer was "I don't know". Summed him up. And now his brother losing every week at Watford. Utter frauds, both of them.

Chelsea head coach Liam Rosenior said his team's performance in their 3-0 defeat by Brighton was both "indefensible" and "unacceptable" as he faced angry chants from his own supporters for the first time.
This was the Blues’ fifth consecutive defeat without scoring - their worst such sequence since 1912.
He really is Chelsea's own Will Still. He'll be toast before long. Worst owners in football Chelsea are. It's the players that have all the power there & have for a long time. Shame we didn't draw them in the semi's this weekend.
