I agree with that. Jander has been fantastic the last few games and could be a top player in the future, but he's not been like that all season.
Fernandes, as you say, did it in the PL, but also he did it consistently and did it in a sh1t team, not once but twice. It's hard to look good in a team that's struggling. He's probably WHU's player of the season and has been linked with some of the top clubs. I wouldn't be surprised to see him feature in a very talented Portugal side at the world cup and make a big move afterwards.
If we do get promotion (touch wood) then we will need to strengthen even though we've got a squad of players who've all been excellent at times. | | | |
