I’ve felt elation after winning FA cup in 1976, I’ve felt bereft being relegated in 2005 and everything else in between including embarrassment of back to back nine nil defeats but I’ve never felt shame supporting this club until now including the Bob Higgins outrage. Whatever happens with the appeal, it does seem harsh compared to Leeds etc but, through our own admission, we are serial cheats. The owners and management are failures and don’t deserve the awesome fanbase and heritage they are custodians of.
Senior management clearly understand the extent and context of the wrong doing so once the appeal is concluded, those responsible must be dispatched to make it clear to the world where we stand - honour, integrity and trust. | | | |
