You could level the charge that his defending was poor, but in that season, you could level that at every other defender.
THB wasn't great in 2024/25 and wasn't that good under Will Still at the start of this one, but was arguably our best player under Tonda eckert.
Roerslev only played 471 minutes, all but 29 of them under Will Still and didn't play after 8th November due to injury.
In the games he did play he was used as a wing back as we employed a back three, that is not really his game, he is more a traditional style right back.
There is a good player in there as was shown when he was at Brentford, he is still only 26 so can play a part in the coming season.
I think we will get rid of Sugawara who will want to play top flight football in Europe, but keep Roerslev.

Sugawara played well when he came on against the Dutch and he had a long throw that I hadn't seen before! Brentford fans think Roeslev is rubbish and I didn't see anything in the guy and certainly not a good player. It may of course be a case of money and contracts but I say keep Sugawara ahead of Roslev given the opportunity. |  |

I'd have him back, he's a decent full back & a lot was expected of him when playing in our struggling Premier lge side.
He's not better than James Bree but could provide good cover for us because Jelert has ended his loan period with us. | | | |
