How much are you paying a month?

I had, until a month ago, Sky tv, sports, not films, for 140£ per month for 3 boxes in different rooms, and BT Broadband for 82£ im,
so 222£ a month, a fool and his money are soon parted

So I rang Sky and told them I can't afford this caper, how can you help?

Sky supplied 3 brand new boxes (mine were as old ss the Ark). with broadband for £104 a month saving saving 118£ a month.

Just had to ask the Home Secretary (Mrs S) as she deals with all that
69.50 a month for 2 boxes, not hd and the basic package along with broadband
Don't want the football or any other sports and am happy to spend as little as possible for "the idiot box"

No longer have or need a box for normal TV. I have actually started getting rid of TVs too and am down to just 2, 1 in the lounge and 1 in the family room. Both have all the apps I need and in other rooms if really needed we just stream on iPads.

So £25/month for broadband (no idea of speed, something ridiculous). £25/month for Sky Sports (on Now TV), plus Netflix, Disney+, Prime, ITVx and Crunchyroll (no idea what that is, but son watches anime crap on it). Still well under £100/month.

My main 'investment' was an Eero router and mesh system around the house to ensure every room has decent WiFi - especially important as I work remotely anyway.

I had broadband and telephone with them . Was paying £33 a month which I didn’t think was great. As my contract ran out, they said I would be moving onto to the standard tariff of £55 month . But as a special customer they would do it at £45 a
Month . Over 2 years a saving of £240 they were trying to tell me. Went to BT for £24.

The only time I use Sky is for individual Saints matches. Expensive per single match but if there are three in a. month then a single month subscription works out at about £10 per match. There's access to other stuff in there as well like F1 so good value.

Have never had a contract with Sky or BT longer than one month and never will and we have only one TV screen in the house.

NOW TV. £25 a month. Cancel after the football season as they don’t have test cricket anymore then renew for the same price.
