The win at Swansea felt brilliant. The Dave Jones year, beating Leicester 2 1 when we were trailing, then Dellhurst Park. The Souness year was comfortable in the end but that win at Forest was massive. The Merrington win against man u at the Dell. Any other great escape memories?
This season as things were going...we had our boom ..but we were then that team that very could of easily been the one no one expected...Norwich and villa were shyte..we were one of four slightly better. The Christmas extravaganza was brilliant and unexpected..going down in my mind was very possible.
A few mentioned above plus the 3-3 at Upton Park in the 90’s was great with pitch invasions and a cracking day out. Also Sheff U in the Championship at St Mary’s 2008 ish? Edit, seen that one’s already been mentioned
1. 2017/18 - needed snookers with 5 games left 2. 1998/99 - just awful until the last 3 games 3. 1996/97 - doomed until Forest away 4. 1993/94 - doomed until Alan Ball took over. And even then we were doomed until the 5-4 at Norwich 5. 1995/96 - in the soup until an utterly magnificent 3-1 demolition of the Mancs
All really stressful but ultimately thrilling in their own way.
