Has the £2.5 million investment in ground improvements to enhance the match day experience been money well spent?

If we dont invest on our stuff we will end up like pompey.

So £2,5 mill ?

We spent that on our bogs , Pompey spent it on their entire team.

Well worth it Pat :)

Truth be told, I’d rather have put it towards the cost of getting a decent striker.

Did the ground really need that much money spending on it???

football clubs have to spend money on other things than players from time to time and £2.5 million is a drop in the ocean and budgeted for

Completely agree Nick.

As an Estates Maintenance Manager for many years, maintenance and improvements is the one area that always gets cut back when money is a bit tight, but if you do not spend on the infrastructure it does not take long to deteriorate and then it becomes even harder and more costly in the long term.

The ground definitely needed a paint and an upgrade. The last time I was there, the red seats were pealing away, cobwebs, dirty roof and the rest. I hope they have given it an uplift and a paint? We arguably didn't need all the new screens in the concourses but I think it's a good idea. Other grounds are modern with sky TV in the concourses. We don't want our ground to be old and not keeping up with the other PL grounds.
