Truth is if we are to rely on tomorrows result for Jones fate then we either have to choose losing and sacking him of which there is no guarantee and potentially being cast so far adrift no one can save us, or we chose to win and keep him but with a chance of staying up still, again no guarantees there either. |  |

If/when we lose on Saturday it will be 7 losses from 8 PL games. That run on it's own would be enough to have many PL managers sacked. How many games do you want him to carry on for? 1 win in 10, 11, 12, 20?
This season is over Nick. We would need a top 6 run of form just to hit the mid 30 point level.

As I said in another post we need average just over 1.2 points per game which is the equivalent of 48 points over a 38 game season .
Not impossible but looking at out fixtures we can’t afford to continually fvck up games where we should be getting points from .
I sence a win tomorrow for us , but more because of our shlt run of results against Wolves and it’s about time we beat them.
The errors made by the owners / board , Ralph and Nathen jones has got us bottom of the league. And a foot and a half in the championship. |  | | |

There is almost unanimous hostility to Jones already. Another defeat and things are going to go nuclear inside the stadium. And the Board will then act.

I don't see it like that.
First, he implied last week that he hadn't been doing it his way, so 'OK, we'll give you/him one more chance and lets see if there's any difference' is not an unreasonable response.
Secondly, they won't want to be seen to be jumping immediately to what the fans want. Even just giving it one more game let's them present themselves as making their own decisions rather than blowing in the wind of fan feeling.
Thirdly, they've had a few days to put the feelers out for replacements.
If he loses tomorrow, then never mind what he might be well on the training pitch, it's clearly not converting to where it really counts. Keeping him on in those circumstances just become ridiculous.
But let's see who's right.
