It sounds like a classic Saints deal. We pay millions for him. He plays a few minutes for us before we send him to a foreign club on loan, where we'll be able to pay half his wages until they send him back to us at the end of the season so that we can pay all of his wages in the summer. Then repeat.

I would say that Alcaraz and to a slightly lesser extent Sulemana have proved themselves to be able to do a job in the Premiership. Alacaraz certainly proved himself against Arsenal, was taken off because he had a yellow card? Sulemana has looked increasingly good too.
