Storm clouds are gathering. Martins dig at the fans has sealed his fate. Next home game hammering will see him off. Blaming the fans is the most bizarre thing I’ve ever heard from a manager. The guy is a complete and utter feckwit.

Albeit, a financially astute / well off fevkwit mind…..
Ready and waiting to mop up those European places......
After tonight's game between Wolves and West Ham there will probably be another sacking tomorrow and another potential "good" manager appointed that we will have lost out on.
I have long resigned to the fact there will be no change though I think RM may just have tipped the fans patience over on Saturday after his comments.
The sad thing is that we are now down (barring a miracle) and won’t get to see Tyler Dibbling develop. Had we got rid of Martin after the wolves game we might still of had a fighting chance

The problem is Heisenberg that a very large majority of our fans don’t read The Ugly or that apology for a journalist that contributes to The Echo. In addition many don’t bother with Blackmore’s after match ramblings on Radio Solent either.
Nick attempted to make a drama about Martin’s one comment about playing the long ball. Hardly a vitriol attack on the fans was it ? Frustration on his part, yes. Something Sports Republic will take notice of ? Absolutely no chance.
I do wonder if the reason Martin still remains is purely financial. Perhaps Sports Republic’s position is so dire that they simply don’t have the money to pay him off and secure a replacement ?
