Merry Christmas. 18:06 - Dec 20 with 615 viewsmushinexile

Comfortably out of the relegation zone by Christmas after the worst start to a season I can recall. Thanks, Tonda. Southampton has a good history of developing some of the game's most prodigious talents. I hope he is the next one. Compliments of the season to the Uglies and a New year full of Saints goals.

Poll: Should the BBC show Glastonbury or Wimbledon?

Comfortably mid table.
I would have taken that back in October.
I said before the season started we were mid table and after last season it is important to steady the ship!

As much as I would like to get back to Premiership, I don't think we are ready and I wouldn't want another season like last.

On a positive note, we have ended the year getting some results and playing better, although that wasn't hard based on first few months of season.

Coventry was my last game this year. It's now time to re-charge, enjoy Christmas with my family and friends and get ready for a positive new year.

Happy Christmas all.

I agree. I think we’re like Coventry last season. Maybe we’ll be in the playoffs but for what.
Last season had to be one of the most depressing I’ve experienced.
Being in the premiership might have its financial gains but as a fan if the team isn’t ready it’s just what’s the point. It’s a lot more enjoyable being in a league where you can actually win some games .
I’m in Gran Canaria for Christmas. Unbelievable what sunshine can do for your wellbeing ☀️🌴
