There were nowhere near 23,000 there, the ground actually has around 38,000 seats, but limited to 34k due to the state of the ground, the North stand was actually closed at the start of this season due to issues.

That was the official attendance, but you're right there wasn't 23k in the ground. Sheffield Wed fans before the match said that they include season ticket holders in the official figure but about five thousand of them have given up and don't turn up. |  |
