I was speaking to a couple of the old Pompey 'knocker boys' (antique dealers) this morning down near Arundel on business. Both ardent die-hard Pompey fans I've known for many years dealing with them. They reckon they're doomed. I said it looks like Leicester & Oxford are going down along with Sheffield Wednesday, surely? Low & behold, they only go and bloody win at Boro! Thanks for the favour lads.
And yeah, all I got all morning from them was "you Scummahs" this and "you scummahs" that. lol | |

I feel we might just finish 4th, same as we did the year we wont he play off final. We could sneak into 3rd as I see Millwall have Oxford as their last game and Oxford might just need a win or draw at least to stay up. But 4th has to be the minimum target now to give us that home tie second leg advantage. Boro I think have lost it. There is always a team that drops out like that and cannot seem to get it back together.

2nd is still possible, but unlikely. So I would have to say that finishing 4th is better than 3rd as it would give Saints the 1st leg away Saturday, May 9th with a 12:30 KO, then the home leg Tuesday 12th with a 20:00 KO
