Had a great day at T20 finals with my daughter
Hants were excellent in semi final, but beaten by the better team Northants in the final, with several players including Baker (shame about his fielding), Vince, Fuller and Weatherley superb throughout the day
Got back to hotel in time to see the ridiculous England v France game

We’ve got a great record in limited overs cricket haven’t we having won 13 cups. I’ve seen most of their wins at Lords but only about half of their 20/20 finals .we’ve appeared in the same number of 20/20 finals days as Somerset (12 I believe )and we’ve both won it 3 times. I remember watching us win the John Player League in 1978 and the Championship in 1973. I would love to see us win the championship again we got really close recently didn’t we but Surrey pipped us.
