The concern is that only the biggest and wealthiest clubs will be able to buy non-British players in future as they will need to be regular internationals for top footballing nations to qualify for a work visa, and that will put them out of the price range of smaller clubs. It will also put British clubs at a disadvantage in European competitions. Furthermore, our academy will no longer be able to recruit players from Europe.

Under the new rules, as a non-EU member, we would not have been allowed to recruit some of the best players in our recent history, like Schneiderlin, Pelle, Romeu, Fonte and van Dijk.

solution is to build a lot of warships and tanks and go and get the British Empire back. Then all those subjects will qualify for the premier League without the need for a visa

Well, I say let's get out there and tw@t it!

'It will also put British clubs at a disadvantage in European competitions'

What the likes of City , Liverpool . United , Spurs , Arsenal and Chelsea ?

Oh dear what a shame for them . I presume you will say there may be the odd chance a smaller team may get into Europe as well and they will be forced to use homegrown talent . Good .

Out of those five, three of them became sulky tw*ts who eventually didn't want to play and put in zero effort in front of the fans whose cash was contributing to their vast wages.
And I'm not referring to Romeu or Pelle....
