Yes, and they have won all 8 of the games he has played in this season. Liverpool must dread the sight of him. He has played against them 3 times so far, once in the Premier League, once in the Community Shield and once in the EFL Cup and Arsenal have won all of 3 of them. He seems to be something of a lucky talisman. We only lost 1 of the last 7 games he played for us, and that included wins against Spurs, Chelsea and Leicester. Let's hope he doesn't play against us! For the 20/21 season Cedric has not made one appearance. Also looking at their message boards this comment posted yesterday seems typical... "Surely not Cedric, AMN came on for Bellerin today. Arteta will literally get hounded out the club if he starts Cedric."

You can be sure, don't worry. He has played in all of their Europa League games eason and they have won them all. He scored on his Premier League debut for them last season in a 4-0 win v Norwich. His appearances last season included the league win v Liverpool and this season, the Community Shield and EFL Cup wins against them. [Post edited 15 Dec 2020 10:56]

| Saint/Arse on 10:59 - Dec 15 with 625 views | SonicBoom | Fair enough but he hasn't played in the PL this season and the Arsenal fans don't seem to like him at all. I think he will play tomorrow though due to their suspensions. I would like to think that Adams will bully him all over the place. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

I really hope he doesn't play because, whatever you think of him as a player, he is an incredibly lucky talisman both for Portugal and Arsenal, as his team nearly always wins when he plays.

Good one. Several local lads went from Saints to win league titles with Arsenal: Roper, Parker and Drake. Whenever we do this, you start to realize just how many top footballers the Southampton area has produced over the years. [Post edited 15 Dec 2020 14:42]
