Be interesting to see if Everton's recruitment drive will show any signs of making a difference.
I think Burnley are doomed and if they lost tonight that would help.
Watford also a poor side and a loss tonight would not be unsurprising.
The other relegation spot is tricky. There is always one team in the bottom 4/5 who have a bit of run and escape. There is always a team a little higher up who have a nightmare run and go into free fall.
If I had to choose between Norwich or Newcastle getting some results, I'd have to go for Newcastle.
A team that might slip is Leeds. They seem to be a one player team and when Raphino doesn't play they struggle.
I also hope Leeds might go because I'd like Saints to consider buying Philips to replace the aging (and slowing) Romeu. I suspect that if Philips did leave, it would be to a northern club as he's very much a home loving boy with roots in the Leeds area. | | | |
