Terrible news for the lad. I hope he comes back better than ever. Terrific young player in his first season here with a very bright future. Hope to see him back and smiling on the St Marys turf soon.

Horrible news for both Tino and the club. Gutted for him.

I guess with a November / December World Cup, one small crumb of consolation may be that he might not miss that much important Saints game time, given that the rest of this season is an irrelevance.

It would hopefully just be mid-August to mid-November that we would miss him for.

Poll: Would you take going down to League 1 if it meant new owners coming in?

Devastating news if correct.

So sorry for him, but he is young, so hopefully a quick healer.

On the plus side, it will at least force RH to play a left footer at LB and a right footer at RB and stop all the moaning about this !! :-)

Probably looking at early spring next year if we're being realistic..absolutely horrendous news for the young lad.

I feel for him.

An ACL injury is not the career ending event it was in my day but it is a long term injury and it's as much about the mental side as the physical.

Good luck Tino.
