Surely we buy players like Lavia because we cannot afford 40 million pound players. Buying him then selling him less than half a season later seems mental. At least get a season out of him particularly as he's one of our better players and we are currently in the bottom three.

With a full season behind him his value can only go up. For those that say we need the money for a striker well we bid 35 for a striker in the summer, so we clearly don't need to flog Lavia. I hope the rumours are BS. When we got VVD we at least got a decent season out of him before flogging him off.
