What's all this fuss about them and how great it is to have them back in the Prem, but watching them now I'm thinking they'll be going down with the Cherries!
Anyone see Hojbjerg getting touched on the face late on and going down playing dead, embarrassing
He does that most games. It's done to eat up the clock and it works. The hopeless refs are a bit too dim to realise it. Now that they've got the biggest time wasting/injury feigning coont of all in their team, Richarlison, it'll be interesting to see which one of them wins the "King of Con' award this season. My money's still on Richarlison - obviously.

You say that, but every once in a while it does actually happen. And with that Hojberg incident, he did get contact in the face, it’s just as we can all see it’s minimum and has no force behind it, so 9 times outta 10 have gotta blow for it as they can’t tell the levels of force behind it like we can. As well as the fact that the ref doesn’t have our angles and abilities to replay the footage and see it all for the regular foul like that, meaning that when he sees contact in the face he’s gotta blow as he can’t tell of the levels of force behind it. And even then they’ve changed up the rules regarding things like that as they’re allowing more contact to let the game flow more, yet it seems people are “a bit too dim” to highlight and realise when they play on for scenarios where they know they’re simulating it.

Well I'd expect you to defend the referees. You always do. But your view is clouded. The solution is quite easy...
VAR the (lack of) contact Hojberg had. Red or yellow card him for blatant cheating. Same goes for Richarlison who does it every game numerous times.
Many refs are a bit dim. Players like Hojberg & Richarlison roll around on the pitch for 40/45 seconds feigning injury - yet they never add anywhere near that to the end of the game... never. You'd be lucky if they added 10 seconds. Players know this and that's why they do it.

You say my views clouded, but it’s not, it’s just unlike yourself, I’ve been in their positions countless times before, so understand of why it’s not as easy/blatant to do certain things that you guys make out to be a walk in the park (and I’m sure that if any of you lot officiated many games you’d be agreeing with me there).
And ok so you want VAR to intervene there… well seeing how VAR can only get involved for a red card offence when it’s got nothing to do with a goal or pen, you’d have to make simulation a sending off offence (which I think should be a thing, as there’s no place for it in the game), but right now it’s not, meaning that if you want that to change, complain about the lawmakers and not the refs, as the refs just listen to the LOTG, and right now simulation ain’t a red card offence, so VAR can’t intervene.
And it’s similar with the injury time, as I still remember how when I first started officiating I basically did a stopwatch tactic for any of that, and the amount is stick I got was unreal, as if we’re gonna do that for injuries, then I guess it’s gotta be the same for the ball being out of play and such…
But yet again that’s not the officials decisions/fault but the lawmakers, so if you wanna criticise someone for things like this then criticise the lawmakers and nit the refs, as just like you and many others at work, you’ve got rules you’ve gotta follow whether you like it or not if you wanna keep your job, and it’s no different with officials
