I know most will not understand this and I have to admit, having been an avid and active supporter certainly all my adult life I have a confession to make.........................I have not missed Saints or the PL playing since the break.........in fact, neither have barely entered my head. May be (hopefully) it will change when we get started again, but over the last year or so I have felt a diminishing interest but I cannot recall ever feeling such an indifference or lack of interest in my team, the league and football as right now.

I have missed Proper Football immensely. Couldn't get excited by The WC at all. Barely watched any whole games and wont be watching the remaining games unless I'm at a lose end.
The only silver lining is the bedding in time for the boss and fewer games missed by long term injured players.
My 1st game will be Everton away which is probably my least favourite away ground to visit, with a 9 out 9 losses record there and not even a single half decent performance too boot. So excitement levels aren't very high at the moment🙄 |  | | |

I was in the Red Lion in Doha on Saturday before the France game, and seem to recall Blackburn v Preston was showing on a screen.
It snowed quite a bit (not in Doha…..) and Blackburn got a whopping, if my Heineken-dazed memory serves…. |  |
