Got to agree , but they have medical shite that tells them how close a player is to injury , Lavia will keep us up , but he wont if he pings a hamstring .This awkward as a I agree but ......
i dont think the manager wants us to get relegated , he will lose his job.

I was past Winchester when I heard that Elyounousi and Diallo were starting, too late to turn around. They both did a couple of half decent actions, but mostly, non-descript, and in Diallo’s case, continuing to give the ball away needlessly..
We mostly looked like a team going through the motions, and taking too long to think about it. Still look like a team of strangers. I thought Pinball Paul would do well in the Championship, so I hope we hang onto him. I also thought Bree did a decent job when he came on. Maybe we can have some fun next season. |  | | |

I honestly thought it was wind-up when someone told me before the game that Elyounoussi and Diallo were playing. Just what is it about these guys? Do they have something in their contracts that says they have to start 90 per cent of our games? All our worst performances this season have come when these two are on the pitch. We were coming off the back of two decent results so what do we do..? We drop our best player and a rejuvenated Walcott for these two! If Lavia and Theo aren't fit they shouldn't be on the bench. I am convinced that had we started with the same side we played against United we would not have lost that game last night.
For the record I don't actually think Elyounoussi and Diallo are bad players - on an away trip to Man City or Arsenal with damage limitation in mind it might make sense but in a must-win home game FFS??? I just have no words anymore.
The great escape is pure fantasy now; even if we beat Spurs we've left ourselves too much to do. At least James Bree might find his level in the Championship because he looks about as good a Premier League player as Nathan Jones looked a Premier League manager. And how poor must the Belgian league be for Tall Paul to score that many goals. There are better players playing Sunday League. | | | |
