AFC Totton Offer Special Deal For Saints Season Ticket Holders For Big Game on 09:03 - Mar 25 with 1524 views
I’m going to watch Basingstoke today, they’ve won 23 league games in a row which I find pretty incredible, expecting over a 1000 to show up today. I’m sure the winning run will come to a crashing end today with Jonah there
Was planning to watch Salisbury play Truro away in Plymouth (they share ground with Plymouth Parkway) but game got called off, so as already bought train tickets, 5 of us ended up watching Newton Abbot Spurs play Plymouth Marjon, in equivalent of Wessex League One .
Spurs one 1-0, but only £5 to in, good bar and excellent burgers, plus several good pubs in Newton Abbott, and time for a quick pint in Great Western at Exeter on way home
Fantastic crowd of 1400 at Totton yesterday

I was asked to go to watch either Winchester City or Lavistock v Portchester. As I wasn't working and wasn't going to Saints, I agreed to go with the wife and offspring to Camden as youngest wanted to look for some stuff. It was hell on Earth with far too many people and every shop selling the same stuff. Nice Chinese buffet though

Just under 300 at Laverstock yesterday, good crowd at the level, more than Sholing had for their game

I actually looked out for their score and saw what a Jonah you'd been! Best you stay away from SMS for the duration....
Last 5 games I’ve watched with my son have been 5 defeats including the Grimsby debacle. Today I was assistant coach for my sons u10’s semi final, they lost 5-0.

How was the ref to that game btw? (and no it wasn’t me but someone I know)

Totton drew 1-1, referee was terrible, booked a Totton player for simulation when he was shoulder challenged to the ground, not a penalty but not a dive either.
Then later in the game an innocuous challenge by a Totton defender saw their player go down and the ref award a penalty and send off the Totton player.
Sholing drew 1-1 so the position remains unchanged at the top , Sholing 3 points ahead but Totton have 4 games in hand, Sholing only have 5 games left.
Official crowd was 1,400, but Totton include all season tickets issued , which means the real crowd was about 1,100

Can’t lie but I probably had one of the most embarrassing games of my life for being an AR/lino, for how poor the ref was and the fact that I was senior AR so right next to the dugouts! As honestly the fact that both teams were agreeing with the opposite of most of the decisions he was giving (even when it went in their favour) just summed it up. As in my books you can always tell between when it’s a decent ref having a bad day to a poor ref just being poor
But still for that penalty was the red given because of what he prevented (like a DOGSO) or for the actual tackle itself (so serious foul play) as if it was for DOGSO then they may have even made a mistake under the LOTG…
