1. A number of pubs in Southampton may face closure if they lose the match day income. These pubs will not be replaced and will be lost forever.

2. Pre-match sing songs will be like concourses at away games. Horrific.

3. Pricey beer in plastic glasses.

I understand why the club want to enhance the “matchday experience” and increase their matchday income.

They don’t need the likes of me there though; there will be thousands of others who will lap it up.

Agree with points 1 & 3.

As for point 2 I'm all for the bantz. Just needs someone to organise a UI meet up at the Northam Fanzone. I'll nominate you to arrange that Pat.

As I’m sure others on here also feel, I take great pride in my art.

I fear it would be demeaned if it were seized on by the great unwashed.

I treat fellow Ugly posters as a more discerning audience.

why?

if I wanted to drink crap ale from plastic cups at high prices there are better venues around

great place to catch covid
