Went to Eastleigh to see them play Southport in the FA Trophy a cracking game ensued which could have been 5-5 given some great chances, but ended 2 -0 to Southport whose 14 fans present were very vocal the entire game

Two teams without philosophies and passing around the back. Just teams playing football and trying to win the game. Players giving their all for the shirt, without all the diving etc. . How football should be and how it used to be.

And it's great at Eastleigh. You can walk where you want, nice and relaxed. Not the control we get at St Mary's.

All i can say is you were watching a different game to me .
I was absolutely bored to death with it .
I very nearly left at half time but was persuaded to stay with a pint on the bar .
It was a dreadful game .

Were Southport's 14 fans louder than the Northam?

Fair chance, I'd say.

Why is the Northam full of old grannies? Can someone explain why the supposed dinhingvendcis full of OAP’s and under 10’s.
The Northam used to be full of young blokes and middle aged men who liked to sing. what’s happened?

It's horrendous.

The overwhelming majority of people:-

- only sing when we score, then they go back to their phones
- only sing the Scouser song or OWTS, then they go back to their phones
- watch little of the game

It honestly baffles me as to why they go, other than for a day out and an Insta pic.

In terms of the demographic, I would say most of these are between 20 and 35.

I watched a bit of the Skates v Arsenal game on TNT on Sunday, and it pains me to say that their fans were loud and put us to shame.

Our away support is a bit better but not much.

I am dreading Fratton for many reasons, not least of which is the noise their lot will make which we won't even try to compete with.

I suspect most of their demographic is the same as ours, they just don't piss about on their phones like our lot do.

The first half wasn't brilliant, but the second half saw a plethora of chances and end to end stuff
