Appreciate the April Fools humour, but we all know there is an element of truth of fears of Arsenal fans in the home end. Just had an email from the club with a very strong worded warning, which shows that they are aware of the rumours:
Ticketing and Ground Regulations:
All home tickets are strictly for home supporters only. Supporters purchasing tickets for this fixture were required to have previous booking history with the club. Any supporter found to be supporting the opposition in home areas will be investigated and may face suspension by the Match and Event Safety Team.
They better keep quiet if there are any. Show respect, no problems. If they don't we should get them out. If we see anyone wearing the colours of the opposition, we should be kicking up a fuss for sure and pointing them out to stewards with this email in hand. The conditions of purchase are clear. Hopefully, these fears are unfounded and we see very few or none. But that email.is warning people for a reason as the club probably has some concerns. [Post edited 1 Apr 20:02]
