Iād would rather have kept Archer than spend Ā£9 million on Dobbin.
Or better still got rid of Archer and spent the Ā£9 million we spent on Dobbin on a proper replacement for Stewart. [Post edited 6 Sep 9:26]

I was less bothered about Archer going, like anyone, if you get someone in that is an improvement on what you had. I am seeing absolutely nothing thus far in Dobbin to suggest he has much to offer, added any quality and is going to make a difference to our team. I hope I am proved wrong, but I/we need to be proved wrong soon as we cannot afford to have passengers on the pitch and in games (not that he is alone in not performing well at the moment). | | | |
