A tale of two halves. In the first half no-one scores above a 5/10 and some were markedly worse. I fully expected Tonda to make subs at half time but to his credit he reminded the players what they needed to do to up their game and we started the second half on the front foot. We fully deserved the point and probably should have bagged all three. On balance of the whole match I would say a draw was fair. Hard to pick a MOTM as the two 45s were so different but Matsuki really showed the rest the level required in the second half and a great leap to assist the goal.

Just a brief point looking at the players ratings at this stage for this match.......I just can't see how anyone could mark JWP's performance above FD? Even the commentators and pundits referred more than once to the WBA domination in midfield in the first half - yet FD was , again, everywhere, making challenges and continually available. In the first half JWP went missing. Yes, he had a much needed, vastly improved performance in the 2nd half, but I think some fans watch the game with a complete biased view.

A point at West Brom is a good result, but for Stephens moment of madness it could have been 3.

Shame we can't split the scores between halves. First half was diabolical, I found myself singling out Mubama and Edozie but in truth everyone was poor.
Second half what a change! Mitsuki in particular seemed well up for it and Edozie seemed to actually spark into life actually trying to win the ball and a poachers goal. West Brim had a few chances but in truth it was ours to win, a one on one miss from Dobbin, Downes getting in a tangle and Azaz pinging the post out of nowhere.
On balance perhaps should have won it but a point away from home is always useful. This is what winning runs look like!

Good point after a dreadful first half. Battled back well. With key players out I'll take that.
