Soon es we got the penalty then realized Moss was the ref l thought crip he will change his mind.
Overall a great team performance and really stifling Man City for most of the game and could of got 3pts but have to be proud of the lads.COYR.

Once again media big club bias kicks in.

'Man City have an off day' rather than Saints playing well and restricting them.

Not sure how a red card and a penalty turns to nothing. Surely it should drop down to a yellow and a penalty?

We were unlucky not to win that. Nearly all the incisive attacking football came from us. City didn't have a single shot on target until the 90th minute.

Great result and performance, everyone played well today, Romeu was a beast in the midfield. How many saves did McCarthy have to make today? Was questioning why Redmond was picked but he defending well late on in the game. VAR worked for and against us today, still think it should have been a penalty.
Hope Stephens injury isn’t too serious, shame since his probably in the best form of his life. Not too many teams will get anything from the etihad this season.

Great overall performance, Romeu looks back to neEd his best, Redmond was excellent defensively & a little more decisive up front would have been mom. Could and maybe should have won.
Need to be better in and around the opposition's box but a great point nonetheless.
Think Broja needs a bit more time to get with Ralph's style ( everyone works hard), early days on that front.
In a nutshell, defensively sound but a but need to be more clinical offensively. Still good to watch today 😇😇😇😇

If Redmond could pass we'd have won easily. He can't be long for dropping surely. The only weak link today

Once again, we lacked quality upfront. Imagine if we had a ruthless finisher like Ings or Timo Werner. We did everything right except scoring.

We need to bring in T.Werner on loan from chelsea in January. He is our missing piece.

Another Moss Saints Robbery

Jon Moss overturning his own penalty decision because of (fellow criminal) VAR ref. Martin Atkinson was fully expected (because of Moss' well known stupidity) even though the whole world could see it was a foul when Kyle Walker body'd down Armstrong with his enormous a** and body weight inside the penalty area. No way in hell was Moss' initial judgement of the incident "A CLEAR AND OBVIOUS MISTAKE". F*ck, f*ck, double f*ck.

What a performance by Saints. City were basically not allowed to get the ball towards our goal! Good tactical display. Good work by everybody. Good result.
Sad for Stephens. I hope the scan will not reveal serious injury.

I suspect that Moss was told(VAR) that Armstrong was already going down and when he looked at the video monitor that is what he saw. That is all that he observed. What he missed was the clear foul by Walker and that without that foul Armstrong may have recovered and got a shot away. We were also in control of the ball when the whistle went and yet at the restart the ball was given to MC.
Full marks to RH for his choice of words in the post match interview.
